Adult and Community Education
Baltimore City Community College is a leader in helping adults achieve
functional literacy and other important coping skills and is the largest {students}
provider of literacy services in Baltimore. By combining modern teaching
technologies with a caring, committed, and innovative professional staff,
Adult and Community Education Programs (ACE) has achieved notable
success with helping adults learn. ACE offers classroom instruction in the
following inter-related areas to individuals and employee groups:
- Adult Basic Education (ABE)
Offers adults 16 years old and older opportunities to improve basic skills in reading, writing, math, and job readiness.
- Multi-level Pre-GED Classes
- GED Studies/Preparation for Maryland High School Diploma Tests
Courses are designed for adults at least 16 years of age who have not earned their high school diploma.
