Mission StatementThe mission of the TRIO/SSS-STAIRS Program is to increase the retention, graduation, and transfer rates of low-income, first-generation college students, and students with disabilities, who have an academic need, by providing intensive individualized academic and other support services with the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
About the Program
The TRIO/SSS-S.T.A.I.R.S. program is funded by the U.S. Department of Education and serves 200 eligible and enrolled students at BCCC. The program is designed to assist students to remain in school until graduation or transfer to a four-year college or university. The S.T.A.I.R.S. program can provide you with the resources necessary to achieve your lifelong dreams.
