Baltimore City Community College's Citizenship Preparation Program is seeking an AmeriCorps Member for the 2013-2014 Year
Members may provide services to LPRs including:
Teaching ESOL/Citizenship classes
Referrals to immigrant integration services
This full-time AmeriCorps position at BCCC will begin in September 2013 and conclude in August 2014
Full-time AmeriCorps members are expected to complete 1700 hours of service by the end of the term. The full-time member's schedule is flexible but will serve approximately 40 hours per week.

Citizenship Maryland AmeriCorps Program
The Citizenship Maryland AmeriCorps Program is focused on citizenship promotion and immigrant integration work, with an emphasis on supporting eligible Legal Permanent Residents (LPRs) through the citizenship process. The project is coordinated by CASA de Maryland as part of the Maryland New Americans Partnership, funded in part by the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) and the Governor's Office on Service and Volunteerism (GOSV).
