Workforce Development


A student must:
  • Enroll in an approved degree, certificate or critical workforce shortage program at BCCC.
  • Be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen.
  • Be a Baltimore City resident.
  • Demonstrate financial need.
  • Enroll either full-time (12-15 credits), part-time (6-11 credits), or participate in an approved credit-free program.

Required Documents:
  • Completed Admissions Application
  • Completed Scholarship Application. Click here to download the Application Form
  • U.S. citizens and eligible non-citizens complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at Use BCCC school code 002061 (Note: Students pursuing continuing education programs should schedule an appointment with the Financial Aid Office at 410-462-8500 to complete a special version of the FAFSA).
  • Letter of Interest expressing student’s personal commitment to the area of interest and future career goals.

  • Baltimore City Community College Transcript
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation
