Mission:
The mission of the Office of Accreditation and Assessment at Baltimore City Community College is to assist in the development of a collaborative, pervasive, and responsive culture of assessment that ensures quality education for all students. This culture of assessment must be evidence-based, goal-driven, and improvement oriented with all stakeholders working collaboratively to attain our institutional mission.

Vision:
The vision of the Office of Accreditation and Assessment is to offer guidance, training, and support for faculty and institutional leaders in the collaborative curriculum and assessment processes.

What types of assistance do we provide?
  • Guidance on the Middle States' accreditation standards and processes
  • Direction and support in the development of student learning outcomes at the institutional, program, and course levels.
  • Guidance, training, and support for Deans, Chairs, and Program Coordinators
  • Training and support on processes of assessment for course instructors
  • On-going monitoring of curriculum and programs
  • Support in the development and revision of programs
