  Citizenship Preparation provides the English language skills and U.S history, politics, and civics knowledge needed to pass the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) naturalization interview. Citizenship classes are offered at Baltimore City Community College sites as well as in various other locations throughout Maryland. These classes are available at all proficiency levels. 
Citizenship preparation classes will help you:
  • Prepare for the naturalization interview with USCIS    
  • Learn important interviewing strategies
  • Increase your confidence with the interview process
  • Practice reading, writing, speaking, listening, and pronunciation in English

To register, please bring your green card and social security card to your first day of class at any of the class locations listed in the schedule above. Registration for all Citizenship classes is free, though please be advised that several outside host sites charge a nominal facility fee. Please contact us for more information.
