The Center is responsible for providing opportunities for students to observe children. It is equipped with observation portals which allow students to see children 2-5 years old in their natural setting , without entering the classroom. Students come from all over the campus with varying academic need and assignments. We have provided experiences for early childhood, social science internships, reading activities , dietary internships and other departmental usages. Students needing internships have to have special clearances. Any student needing to do internships will need to provide a copy of their last physical and a release form which is then run through the Maryland Sexual Abuse Registry.
