Certified EKG Tech BCCC’s Test Center provides on -site testing for EKG Tech.Certification offered through the National Health Association (NHA). Test will be administered on the fourth Tuesday of each month except January, July, August and December. This certification exam is administered by paper andpencil.
Students must bring a valid photo ID and a registration confirmation from NHA. Late arrivals will not be seated. If you have additional questions, please call the Test Center at 410-462-7666. As a Certified EKG Technician,you’ll operate machines that record electromotive variations in a patient’sheart muscle. These tests provide important data for the diagnosis of heartailments. In this role, you’ll perform EKG’s, stress testing and Holter monitoring,edit and deliver final test results to physicians for analysis, scheduleappointments and transcribe physicians’ interpretations.
