Knowing the Warning Signs and Symptoms: Addressing Students Who Are Experiencing Dating and Domestic

Did you know? April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Shawn Harrison. Deputy Chief of Police and Public Safety, and Angela Donn from Student Support and Wellness Services will facilitate Knowing the Warning Signs and Symptoms: Addressing Students Who Are Experiencing Dating and Domestic Violence, a staff development workshop being held Wednesday, April 9 from noon to 2 p.m. in the Gaare Auditorium.

Attendees will learn about the signs and symptoms of domestic violence, as well as ways to help students dealing with it. The workshop will also discuss the institutional compliance with the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act (VAWA). Click here to view more information about VAWA.
