The BCCC Dental Hygiene program, in conjunction with National Children’s Dental Health Month, will hold its free Sealant Saturday spring community service project from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Dental Hygiene Clinic on the first floor of the Life Sciences Building. The annual effort provides youngsters ages 5-18 a free plastic sealant coating on their permanent molars to protect against cavity-causing bacteria. Potential patients need to reserve appointments in advance by calling Grace Simmons at 410-462-7712.
A consent form must be signed by a parent or guardian for children under 18. For more information or if you have questions, please contact Assistant Professor/Dental Hygiene Clinic Coordinator Kimberly Erdman, RDH, PHDHP, M.S.D.H., at firstname.lastname@example.org or 410-462-7715.
