In Baltimore Sun Op-Ed, Dr. May Says P-TECH Can Empower Underserved Minorities
Baltimore City Community College President/CEO Dr. Gordon F. May wants to bring the benefits of the STEM revolution to as many people as possible. As his institution becomes one of the first community colleges to partner in the state's Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) program, which provides cost-free training from ninth grade to the associate degree to any high school student interested in science and math, Dr. May is particularly focused on bringing the promise of STEM to underserved minorities.
