ESL Community Partners Meeting at BCCC-Harbor Site
The English Language Services & Basic Skills programs rely on community partners to make our success possible. Our partners help us serve our students in a myriad of ways, including hosting community classes, spreading the word about our programs, partnering on grant opportunities, and providing wrap-around services that meet the needs of our students. Contact us for partnership opportunities.
A few of our partners are featured here:
"What BCCC offers is an opportunity for students to attend a professional ESOL class in addition to our informal volunteer-taught class sessions. This has been a very successful partnership for many years.” -Diana Siemer, English Language Program Coordinator, Esperanza Center
“We have been partnering with BCCC for years. The parents of our school enjoy the convenience of participating in weekly classes on our school campus with highly qualified ESOL teachers. They have learned so much!” -Felicia German, Latino Outreach Coordinator, Hampstead Hill Academy
||“Southeast Early Head Start is proud to have partnered with BCCC for many years. The partnership offers a wide range of educational options to parents of young children who might not otherwise be able to attend a regularly scheduled class. While the parent is learning a second language, their child is learning both their home language and English with the opportunity to become bilingual.” -Gayne Barlow-Kemper, Director, Southeast Early Head Start
