The Center is responsible for providing opportunities for students to observe children. It is equipped with observation portals which allow students to see children 9 months - 5 years old in their natural setting, without entering the classroom.
Students come from all over the campus with varying academic needs and assignments. We have provided experiences for early childhood, social science internships, reading activities, dietary internships and other departmental usages.
Students requiring internships must have special clearances. Any student needing to do internships will need to provide a copy of their last physical and a release form which is then run through the Maryland Sexual Abuse Registry.
