New Student Orientation (NSO) is an integral part of the college experience and it is our goal to assist students in making their transition to college life as informative, seamless and effective as possible. It is designed to both challenge and support students in their academic endeavors. Students may participate in an orientation session online or in-person. Indicated below is information on both options.
The Baltimore City Community College Orientation Program covers a wide variety of important topics and resources for students including: applying for financial aid and scholarships, student accounting processes, advising services, the registration process and faculty expectations to include academic integrity and civility, student responsibilities, student code of conduct, public safety and key support services.
Students must have a current application for Admissions on file to participate in a New Student Orientation Session. For more information, please contact the Call Center at 410-462-8300.
