Office of Institutional Effectiveness, Research and Planning

The Office of Institutional Effectiveness, Research, and Planning (OIERP) at Baltimore City Community College (BCCC) serves as a central hub for data-driven decision-making, strategic planning, and institutional improvement. Reporting directly to the Office of the President, OIERP provides faculty, staff, and key stakeholders with accurate, timely, and relevant data to support institutional planning, accreditation, assessment, grant administration, and research.

The Office ensures that BCCC’s programs and services align with the Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) regulations, Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) accreditation standards, other program-focused accreditation bodies, and state and federal reporting requirements.

OIERP plays a pivotal role in overseeing the College’s strategic planning efforts, ensuring that institutional goals, priorities, and resource allocations align with BCCC’s mission and vision. By leveraging research, assessment, and evaluation, the office supports continuous improvement initiatives that enhance student success, operational efficiency, and institutional accountability.
