Program Learning Outcomes

Consistent with the philosophy, the curriculum is designed so that graduates of the Associate Degree Nursing Program at BCCC will be able to:

  1. Utilize effective clinical decision skills to apply knowledge from the sciences, humanities, and nursing knowledge into nursing practice.
     
  2. Implement health promotion and disease prevention in providing health care interventions in culturally diverse populations.
     
  3. Utilize nursing knowledge and evidence-based practice to enhance health and well-being that are consistent with ethical, legal, and regulatory principles.
     
  4. Demonstrate usage of information management technology when communicating to interprofessionals in providing client care.
     
  5. Assume personal accountability for professionalism and professional growth.
