Robotics and Mechatronics, Certificate


The Robotics and Mechatronics Certificate Program trains students to be robotics/automation/
manufacturing/ mechatronics technicians who can maintain, program, troubleshoot, and repair robots and mechatronics systems in different applications. Students in this certificate program receive extensive training in robotics, PLCs, mechatronics, computer controls, instrumentation, data acquisition, mechanical controls, pneumatics, electrical power, motors, and hydraulics. This certificate program emphasizes hands-on training and prepares students for immediate employment. This certificate program does not require any mathematics prerequisite.

Suggested Sequence Of Courses
Every degree-seeking student must complete the College’s General Education Requirements in addition to the requirements of his/her academic program. Through the College’s General Education Requirements, students acquire basic knowledge of the disciplines in the areas of arts and humanities, social and behavioral sciences, biological and physical sciences, mathematics, English composition, and computer literacy.
