Baltimore City Community College is offering FREE tuition, fees, and books for eligible students for the Summer 2023 term. Learn how you can participate below.

Student Eligibility Criteria for Free Summer 2023 Tuition, Fees and Books

In order to qualify for Free Summer Tuition, Fees, and Books, students must meet all existing eligibility requirements, which include completion of a valid 2022-23 and or 2023-2024 FAFSA and the following:

Be registered for Summer 2023*
Be in good academic standing
Be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen
Be a high school graduate or have earned an equivalent such as a General Education Diploma (GED)
Be a degree or certificate seeking student (non-credit students are not eligible for this funding)
Have a social security number
Not be in collection's with the State of Maryland for a BCCC balance

Note: Mayor's Scholar's Program (MSP), Dual Enrollment, and P-Tech students are eligible to participate.

*Workforce training programs are excluded from Summer 2023 free tuition, fees and books offer.

Once your account is created, under "My Applications" click "Create a New Application".

Follow the step-by-step instructions to complete your Online Application.

Submit the appropriate academic credentials to the Admissions Office:

Official High School transcript (showing evidence of graduation) or

GED Diploma (copy of scores) and/or

Official College transcripts

Your online application will be processed within two (2) business days.

If you are a returning student within one year of your last class, please complete the Application for Admission at the button above.
