International Students Admissions Process

Welcome to Baltimore City Community College (BCCC) 

Baltimore City Community College welcomes students from all over the world.  Currently we have students from over 71 countries attending BCCC.  Whether you are applying from outside the U.S., transferring from another U.S. college, or changing your visa status, click the option below to see application steps and required documents: 

• New International Students (Outside the USA): For applicants from outside the United States who plan to attend BCCC on an F-1 student visa 
• Transfer Students (Currently in the USA on F-1 Visa): For students in the USA with F-1 visa status and would like to transfer to BCCC 
• Change of Status Applicants: For individuals currently in the USA with an unexpired non-immigrant visa status (e.g., B-1/B-2, J-1/J-2, H-4, F-2) who wish to change their visa status to F-1 (student visa) to attend BCCC.   

We accept students in the above categories for the following start dates:  

• Fall Semester (classes start in late August) 

• Spring Semester (classes start in early January) 

• Summer Term (classes start in late May) 

Students must be able to start classes by the first date of those terms. Start dates for each semester can be found in the Academic Calendar.
