Shared Governance in Higher Education by Dr. Brad Lyman
Dr. Brad Lyman, professor of sociology and currently the president of the BCCC Faculty Senate will make his presentation, Shared Governance in Higher Education, on March 19. The event will take place in Main 116 from 2 - 4 p.m. All members of the College community are invited. The presentation covers the traditional and functional aspects of college governance, highlighting the seminal statements on academic freedom and college governance created by the American Association of University Professors. Two hours of professional development will be awarded to individuals who attend the presentation.
