The Consortium of Afro Latino Communities: Panel Discussion/Book Signing


The Baltimore City History Club and the Office of Student life will host the Universal Negro Improvement Association's celebration of Latino Heritage Month with a panel discussion/book signing. Taking place October 12,  the panel discussion will feature various Afro Latino activists/organizations and authors, speaking on their experiences dealing with issues of race/racism, culture, visibility, artistry and activism. The discussion will be followed by a book signing, showcasing the works of participating Afro Latino authors.
