ELI Academic Track
ELI Academic Track consists of college preparatory classes at three proficiency levels: ELI 80 (Intermediate), ELI 81 (High Intermediate), and ELI 82 (Advanced). Each courses addresses at least one skill area: grammar, reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
After successfully completing ELI 82W Advanced Reading and Writing and ELI 82G Advanced Grammar, a student qualifies to enroll in English 101 without taking the College placement test.
Eligible ELI Academic Track students may apply for Federal Financial Aid to cover their tuition, fees, and educational expenses.Before registering for ELI Academic Track courses, students must complete the ELI New Student Orientation.
