BCCC’s Workforce Development & Continuing Education Division builds a competitive workforce through collaboration with government agencies, businesses and professional associations to identify training needs for the people of Baltimore. Through partnerships with local business and industry, Workforce Development & Continuing Education provides cost effective, state-of-the-art contract and customized training, occupational training and industry certifications.
Services are offered in four primary areas: workforce development, community education, adult basic education and English language services. Both credit and noncredit courses are developed in close collaboration with professional groups and BCCC’s academic departments.
Training and courses are offered at BCCC’s Liberty and downtown Baltimore campuses, Reisterstown Plaza Center, the Life Sciences Institute at UMB’s BioPark, the National Weatherization Training Center in Baltimore and more than 80 off-campus locations throughout Baltimore City.
