BCCC Year Up Students Gain the Spotlight on WBAL-TV
WBAL-TV had lots to report Thursday, March 31 at the BCCC Liberty campus as it shined the spotlight on some of the most successful students in town. At BCCC, students who learn and earn in the Year Up program are gaining a new lease on life with as little as a high school diploma and some initial college training. Year Up introduces students to the culture of corporate life as the program instills the habits of professional dress, punctuality, accountability, and teamwork which can put YOU on the road to success! Year Up's Professional Training Corps Baltimore, based at BCCC, provides urban young adults ages 18-24 the opportunity to earn a monthly stipend of up to $600 while beginning their college studies, and a livable wage of $16 an hour and up through exciting internships at many well-known companies throughout Baltimore.
