Through regular grant support, Baltimore City Community College brings the fruits of higher education to the citizens of Baltimore.
In September 2016, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield awarded the BCCC Foundation $157,361 to support simulation labs in its School of Nursing and Health Professions. Click here for the story, in Community College Week.
In October, the Department of Homeland Security/U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services awarded the BCCC Citizenship Preparation Program $250,000 over two years (Oct. 1, 2016–Sept. 30, 2018) to support citizenship instruction and naturalization application services, which the program offers through a partnership with the International Rescue Committee/Baltimore.
