Pathways in Technology Early College High Schools

Pathways in Technology Early College High Schools (P-TECH) is a dual enrollment program that begins in the summer after students complete their 9th grade of high school. 

  • P-TECH is a four to six-year unique program that combines rigorous academics with valuable postsecondary training in a high-demand career pathway.  
  • P-TECH students will graduate with a high school diploma, a tuition-free AA degree, and first consideration for well-paying jobs with our industry partners.  
  • P-TECH’s first cohort, here in Baltimore, began in September 2016. 

Baltimore P-TECH partners include BCCC, BCPSS, IBM, Johns Hopkins Hospital, Johns Hopkins University, University of Maryland, Kaiser Permanente, and the Baltimore Port Alliance.

P-Tech has nine degree pathways in three Baltimore City High Schools:

Carver Vocational-Technical High School

  • Cyber Security and Assurance
  • Computer Information Systems

Digital Harbor High School

  • Transportation and Supply Chain Management

Paul Laurence Dunbar High School

  • Nursing
  • Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Respiratory Care
  • Surgical Technologist
  • Health Information Technology
  • Arts & Sciences Transfer General Science
