BCCC’s Citizenship Preparation program is the largest Citizenship program in the state of Maryland. Citizenship Preparation classes prepare students with the English skills and U.S. history/civics knowledge needed to pass the federal naturalization exam.

Multi-level Citizenship classes will help you:

  • Prepare for the naturalization interview with USCIS.
  • Learn important interviewing strategies.
  • Increase your confidence with the interview process.
  • Practice reading, writing, and speaking in English.
  • Understand the rights and responsibilities of becoming a United States citizen

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and the Maryland Office for Refugees and Asylees (MORA) provide grant funding for the program. All Citizenship Preparation classes are FREE for students, however, several outside host sites charge a nominal facility fee. Please contact us for more information.
