BCCC Hosting the Baltimore City Health Department COVID-19 Vaccine Site
Maryland has moved into Phase 1B of its COVID-19 vaccination plan. Starting on Monday, January 25, 2021, BCCC will host the Baltimore City Health Department (BCHD) vaccination site. All vaccines are by appointment only and scheduled based on priority level and eligibility.
For more information, please go to the Baltimore City Health Department’s COVID-19 web page
The BCCC/BCHD site operational hours are from 8:00 am to 7:30 pm, this is to allow time for the BCHD set-up and closing procedures.
Public access (by appointment only) will be between 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
The scheduling and distribution of vaccines is managed by the Baltimore City Health Department (BCHD). As a host site, BCCC has partnered with the BCHD and the Baltimore Police Department (BPD).
Check-in and additional screening will be set up to handle those in vehicles and those arriving on-foot. Vehicles will be directed to a Screening Tent at the entrance to Parking Lot C. Pedestrians will be screened by BCHD staff at the BCCC Kiosk and will then proceed directly to the College gymnasium, where BCHD will operate the vaccination clinic. Vice President Michael Thomas is serving as the point person from BCCC to lead and coordinate the responses from the College.
The College is pleased to provide support to BCHD for distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Regards,
Debra L. McCurdy, President
