    Purpose

    Offices of the Assistant Vice President of Academic Affairs is comprised of multiple departments that support academic services to the credit student population. Departments include: Adjunct Faculty Services, Academic Analytics, Center for Academic Achievement (CAA), E-Learning Excellence and Teaching Innovation, Library Services, Assessment, Articulation and Transfer Services, Promise Academy, PRE 100, and grade grievances.

    Mission

    The Offices of the Assistant Vice President of Academic Affairs provides quality assurance, efficiencies, assessments and academic analytic support services with all matters related to articulation, compliance, marketing integrity, student outcomes, and accreditation through internal and external collaborations that enhance the quality of the student experience.

    In addition, Offices of the Assistant Vice President of Academic Affairs support an increasingly diverse population of students, faculty, and staff through: Adjunct Faculty Services, Academic Analytics, Center for Academic Achievement (CAA), E-Learning Excellence and Teaching Innovation, Library Services, Assessment, Articulation and Transfer Services, Promise Academy, PRE 100, Predominantly Black Institutions (PBI), PBI Formula Grant, the PBI 4A Competitive Grant, grade grievances and externally funded initiatives. The Academic Services staff is committed to work collaboratively to provide student-centered and flexible learning environments that promote student success, persistence, and completion.

    The Offices of the Assistant Vice President of Academic Affairsstrives to prepare students to reach their holistic potential promoting retention, persistence, and completion.Offices of the Assistant Vice President of Academic Affairs engages students, faculty, and staff through innovative and flexible learning opportunities, quality instruction, comprehensive resources and academic support services. In addition, Articulations and Accreditation provides operational efficiencies that support and sustain a culture of evidence.
