Commencement 2022 Program Book
Commencement Participation, Graduation Box, Invitations and Tickets
Students who completed the 2022 Commencement Graduate Participation form will be mailed a Graduation Box on or about April 29, 2022. The box will contain the following items:
Commencement regalia
Six Commencement invitations
Six Commencement tickets. Guests must present a ticket for entry to The Lyric.
Faculty and staff who are volunteering at The Lyric are not required to have a ticket for entry to the Commencement Ceremony.
Graduates, Graduate Guests, Platform & Special Guests, and Faculty
Commencement Update: To ensure the safety of our graduates and guests, masks are required at the Commencement ceremony.
Graduates
Graduates should arrive by 8:00 am and enter The Lyric from the Maryland Avenue entrance (follow directional signage)

Graduate Guests
All guests must present a ticket to enter The Lyric.
Guests must enter The Lyric main entrance on West Mount Royal Avenue beginning at 9:00 am and be seated by 9:30 am.
Metal detectors will be present at entrances.
No admittance will be permitted during Processional

The Lyric’s official garage is Fitzgerald Garage on Oliver Street (between Mt. Royal Avenue and Maryland Avenue at 80 West Oliver Street, Baltimore, MD 21201). The garage is a block north of The Lyric and is privately owned. Additional parking garages are located nearby.

Guests will not be admitted to the auditorium during the procession
Backstage assembly area is for graduates only
Remain seated & keep aisles clear during the procession & the ceremony.
Photos may not be taken from the aisles during the ceremony
Prohibited items include:
Smoking or vaping on the premises
Food, alcohol, or controlled substances
Animals with the exception of service animals
Balloons
Noisemakers, speakers, or amplification devices
Weapons
