    AccountingThe Accounting program prepares students for advanced academic studies as well as for careers in public accounting, private industry, government and non-profit sectors. The program is designed for individuals seeking entry-level employment and as preparation for the CPA examination.

    The program offers 60-credit, sequentially tiered course work that provides students with the opportunity to master conceptual/theoretical and technical skills.

    The accounting degree program is accredited by Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).

SUGGESTED SEQUENCE OF COURSES

  • Every degree-seeking student must complete the College’s General Education Requirements in addition to the requirements of his/her academic program. Through the College’s General Education Requirements, students acquire basic knowledge of the disciplines in the areas of arts and humanities, social and behavioral sciences, biological and physical sciences, mathematics, English composition, and computer literacy.
