Mayor’s Scholars Program

  • Mayor's Scholars Program

Earn an associate degree or complete a workforce training program.

Through the Mayor’s Scholars Program (MSP), Baltimore City Community College and the City of Baltimore are making college affordable through a last-dollar scholarship. This opportunity makes college and job training programs affordable and helps students move toward a rewarding career and financial security.

Attend BCCC full time after graduating from a Baltimore City high school without paying tuition and fees. Books, supplies and transportation are not included but may be covered through financial aid.

MSP covers tuition and fees (after all aid is awarded), excluding textbooks, transportation, living and other expenses. Scholars have up to three years to earn an associate degree, certificate or certified job-training program.

Note: Participants who complete an associate degree are eligible to earn a bachelor’s degree at Coppin State University tuition-free. Visit coppin.edu for application details.
