Robotics Technology Program

The Robotics Technology Program here at BCCC takes students into the rapidly expanding and cutting edge industry of automated manufacturing. Students in this program receive extensive training in electronics, computer and mechanical controls, pneumatics and data acquisition and hydraulics related to industrial robots. Graduates learn how to operate, program and repair industrial robots, use various sensors to develop an automation cell and use various sensors to develop an automation cell, among other skills. Graduates of the Robotics Program receive an Associate of Applied Science in Robotics Technology and are eligible to transfer to four-year bachelor’s degree programs.
