  • Students planning to graduate and participate in Commencement 2024 must complete the required Graduation Application & Commencement Participation Form at the button below. The deadline to submit the application is Friday, April 26, 2024.

    Graduation Application

Invitations, Tickets, and Regalia

  • Students who completed the 2024 Graduation Application and confirmed their participation in Commencement on May 18, 2024, will receive invitations, tickets, and regalia at the BCCC Bookstore as listed below: 

    Saturday, April 20, 2024
    10:00 am - 1:00 pm

    Monday - Friday, April 22, 2024 through May 17, 2024
    8:00 am - 5:00 pm

    Faculty and staff who are volunteering at The Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall are not required to have a ticket for entry to the Commencement Ceremony.

Graduate Photo Sessions

  • Get your professional graduation pictures taken by Grad Images at no cost. Photo packages will be available for purchase. Graduate photo sessions are scheduled as listed below.

    Wednesday, April 24, 5:00 - 7:00 pm
    Tuesday, May 7, 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
    Wednesday, May 8, 3:00 - 7:00 pm
    Thursday, May 9, 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Graduates, Graduate Guests, Platform & Special Guests, and Faculty

  • Graduates

      • Graduates should arrive by 1:30 pm and enter The Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall using the main entrance (follow directional signage).
      • Masks are optional.

    Graduate Guests

      • All guests must present a ticket to enter The Jospeh Meyerhoff Symphony Hall.
      • Guests must enter The Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall using the main entrance on Cathedral Street beginning at 2:00 pm and be seated by 2:30 pm.
      • No admittance will be permitted during Processional.
      • Photos may not be taken from the aisles during the ceremony.
      • Masks are optional.

    Platform & Special Guests (by invitation only)

      • Guests must enter The Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall using the main entrance on Cathedral Street.
      • Look for directional signage marked VIP Entrance.
      • Masks are optional.

    Faculty

      • Faculty must enter The Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall using the main entrance on Cathedral Street.
      • Look for directional signage marked Faculty Entrance.
      • Masks are optional.

Parking

  • Parking is no longer available at the Cathedral Street Garage. We encourage everyone to park at the Symphony Center Garage which is conveniently located across the street from the Meyerhoff at 1030 Park Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21201.  

    The University of Baltimore also offers $15 pre-paid parking available at the Maryland Avenue Garage (1120 Maryland Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21201), which is located across the street from the Meyerhoff. If you'd like to purchase parking to guarantee your parking space, click here.

General Information

    • Students should not bring large bags or purses to The Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall as there is no secure storage in the student robing area.  
    • Masks are optional.
    • Guests will not be admitted to the auditorium during the procession.
    • Guests are to remain seated & keep the aisles clear during the procession and ceremony.
    • Photos may not be taken from the aisles during the ceremony.
    • Prohibited items include:
      • Smoking or vaping on the premises
      • Food, alcohol, or controlled substances
      • Animals, with the exception of service animals
      • Balloons
      • Noisemakers, speakers, or amplification devices
      • Weapons
