Volunteer & Staff Announcement

  • This year’s Commencement marks the College’s 70th graduating class and it is the most significant annual event the College hosts as we recognize the hard work, determination, and success of our students.

We are honored to have award-winning author and White House correspondent April Ryan as the keynote speaker.

In an effort to inspire solidarity of the College community, I am requesting that all faculty and staff attend Commencement on Saturday, June 1 at the Patricia & Arthur Modell Performing Arts Center at The Lyric. We will meet at 8:30 a.m. for a continental breakfast and photos before lining up for the march. All faculty and staff are required to wear regalia representative of their highest degree earned which will be provided free of charge at the bookstore. Seating will be reserved for everyone taking part in the event.

As all faculty and staff have been asked to participate in Commencement, it is time to order regalia for the event. The BCCC Bookstore is now accepting orders for regalia rentals. All orders must be received by Wednesday, May 15 to guarantee correct interior hood colors and timely delivery. Emails will be sent when orders arrive and are ready for pick up. There is no charge to faculty and staff for regalia rental.

Questions or concerns can be directed to Antoinette Richardson, at Arichardson@bccc.edu or 410-462-8484.

Please complete the Cap & Gown order form and submit to the Bookstore or email to Arichardson@bccc.edu.

I appreciate your cooperation with this request.
