Feeding Baltimore In A Time Of Crisis

(May 15, 2020) The coronavirus pandemic has cost nearly 40 million Americans their jobs and many families are struggling to afford basic necessities, including food. I spoke with Nate Mook, CEO of World Central Kitchen, about his organization’s effort to help households across the country during this stressful time. World Central Kitchen is hosting “Meals for Baltimore” at three city locations this Saturday, May 16 from 11am-2pm. They are: Baltimore City Community College South Pavilion, 2600 Liberty Heights Avenue, Stadium Parking Lot H adjacent to M&T Bank Stadium, and Johns Hopkins at Eastern High School, 1101 E. 33rd Street. Here’s an extended version of my interview with Mr. Mook.
