BCCC Vice President of Advancement and Strategic Partnerships Appointed to Sinai Hospital Board of Directors

Dawn Kirstaetter, vice president of Advancement and Strategic Partnership at Baltimore City Community College has accepted a three-year post on the Sinai Hospital Board of Directors.

Kirstaetter has more 20 years of leadership in government, nonprofit and advocacy. She joined BCCC in 2017 and is responsible for fundraising, alumni affairs, communications, marketing and strategic partnerships in addition to serving as BCCC's primary liaison to the Office of the Mayor of Baltimore. Kirstaetter currently serves the Leadership Council of the Open Society Institute-Baltimore and is a board member of the Maryland SPCA, Georgetown University Hoya Hoop Club, and the SEED School of Maryland. She holds a B.A. in Government from Georgetown University and an M.S.W. from Clark Atlanta University.

Sinai is a nonprofit institution with a mission of providing quality patient care, teaching and research. Founded in 1866 as the Hebrew Hospital and Asylum and Sinai Hospital is a Jewish-sponsored health and is an agency of The Associated: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore. Sinai Hospital has 504 beds and 35 newborn bassinets and provides care for all people.
