BCCC Welcomes New Director of Scheduling and Events

Renata Allen has been appointed as the Director of Scheduling & Events for BCCC. In this capacity, she is the primary staff member supporting campus scheduling as well as internal and external campus events.
Ms. Renata found her passion for higher education while serving as an adjunct hospitality faculty member at her alma mater, Morgan State University. Prior to joining BCCC, she served as the Director of Operations at the American Small Business Alliance. Additionally, she held several roles at The Baltimore Convention Center and with Baltimore City Public Schools. With more than 14 years of industry experience, Renata has planned and executed large scale national and international events for various corporate, non-profit and government clients.
Ms. Allen also served as Director of the HBCU Career Development Marketplace and attracted sponsorships from several Fortune 500 companies including Home Depot, Under Armour, Fed Ex, AETNA and Goldman Sachs.
A native of Baltimore, Renata received a B.S. in Hospitality Management from Morgan State University and an M.B.A in Entrepreneurship and Marketing from the University of Baltimore.
