Graduates are employed in the construction industry as assistant managers, construction superintendents, construction safety officers, or in similar categories, depending on which track they choose. They are prepared to work as supervisors and they perform additional duties such as:

• Coordinating employees on the construction work field.
  
  
• Managing construction schedules and delivery of construction materials.
  
  
• Blueprint reading and assigning duties based on job schedules.
  
  
• Oversight responsibilities as a job site safety officer.
  
  
• Evaluating clients' needs before and during construction.
  
  
• Calculating construction estimates for review by the General Contractor.
  
  
• And several other associated duties.

Individuals employed in the construction field require varieties of skills, most especially:

• Ability to read and interpret Blueprints.
  
  
• Ability to calculate construction estimates.
  
  
• Excellent critical thinking skills to perform construction assessments and management.
  
  
• Ability to plan, organize, direct, and control construction workers and other stakeholders on a construction field, and other skills needed to successfully execute a construction project.
