Application Process

  • The Surgical Technology Program is limited access program with a maximum acceptance of 16 students per year. Students must compete all program prerequisites in order to be eligible to apply for admission into the Surgical Technology Program. Sciences must be completed within 5 years of entry into the program and must be passed with the grade of "C" or better. A grade point average of 2.5 is also required for consideration.  A separate application of admission to Baltimore City Community College should be completed prior to applying to the Surgical Technology program. New classes start in the Fall of each academic year.
     
    Anyone interested in applying to the surgical technology program should follow the instructions below to start the application process.

    1. Click on this link: https://bccc.instructure.com/enroll/8XBGKY
    2. You’ll need to sign in with your myBCCC information (username & password)
    3. Once signed in, click on the button that says “enroll in this course”
    4. This will allow you access to the assignment folder to submit the requested information as one complete packet. The Home page will have instructions that will give information on which documents you must provide and how to submit the application packet.
