Office of Institutional Research

  • The Office of Institutional Research (OIR) provides faculty, staff, and other key stakeholders with current, accurate, and relevant data to inform planning and decision-making processes. 
    OIR is housed in the Office of the President and reports to the Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness, Research, and Planning. The Office supports the College’s planning, academic programs, program review and evaluation, assessment, grant initiatives, program accreditations, surveys, and enrollment management. 

    OIR is responsible for the preparation of ongoing reporting requirements for external agencies, including the Maryland Higher Education Commission, Maryland State Department of Education, Maryland Association of Community Colleges, the Middle States Commission on Higher Education Commission, and National Center for Education Statistics.
