Program Learning Outcomes

The goal of the biotechnology certificate is to prepare students for immediate employment in the biotechnology field as biotechnology laboratory technicians or assistants.

• Students will demonstrate the ability to conduct necessary calculations required by biomedical labs.
• Students will demonstrate the ability to communicate professionally with scientists, researchers, and technicians in biomedical labs.
• Students will demonstrate the ability to follow a typical industry Standard Operating Procedure with accuracy and precision.
