    Hello BCCC Students:

There has been a positive COVID exposure reported from a BCCC staff today, February 3, 2022.  The staff who have come into contact with this individual and others who have been exposed have been notified and recommended to schedule a COVID test.  We will continue to follow CDC and Baltimore City Health Department guidelines as well as the College’s exposure protocols.  Everyone on the campus must wear a mask and self-monitor for symptoms; N95 masks are available on the campus and you can contact Public Safety should you need one.

As I’ve stated previously, if you have or develop symptoms, please stay home, contact your health care provider for medical evaluation and testing, and notify your respective faculty member. Public Safety serves as the point of contact in each building to respond to any COVID related issues.

Please note the following common COVID-19 symptoms:

    • Congestion or runny nose
    • Cough Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
    • Diarrhea
    • Fatigue Muscle or body aches
    • Fever or chills
    • Headache
    • Nausea or vomiting
    • New loss of taste or smell
    • Sore throat

BCCC continues to host a CVS clinic on the campus and community members and students may get COVID tested on campus at no cost.  The CVS on campus site is located in the South Pavilion with walk-in hours scheduled from 9:00 to 11:00am and 1:00 to 2:30pm; outside of these time you are asked to call to schedule an appointment.  The lines for the on-site clinic have not been long so it is still likely that you may still be seen throughout the day without an appointment.

We will continue to keep the BCCC community informed.
