Baltimore City Community College Nursing Program
Reaffirmed Accreditation by ACENBaltimore City Community College (BCCC) is pleased to announce that, after an extremely thorough process, the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) has reaffirmed accreditation of
the College's Associate Degree Nursing Program.BCCC's Associate of Science Degree in Nursing is a two-year program that prepares graduates to take the licensing examination (NCLEX-RN) to become a Registered Nurse (RN). BCCC also offers an LPN-to
Associate Degree Nursing option and a Practical Nursing Certificate Program.Students enrolled in four BCCC health programs - Dental Hygiene, Respiratory Care, Licensed Practical Nurse, and Physical Therapist Assistant - have achieved a 100-percent licensure/certification exam pass rate for the most recent reporting period (FY2016), according to BCCC data reported to the Maryland Higher Education Commission.
The numbers also show the college is experiencing strength in the number of graduates who transfer to four-year institutions, and significant growth in its workforce development program as
students enroll at BCCC to improve their job prospects.

BCCC the Home to NCBAA’s First Local Chapter
The National Council on Black American Affairs - Northeast Region (NCBAA-NE), has chosen BCCC as the home of its first local chapter, the Baltimore Metropolitan Chapter (BMC). Dr. Daphne Snowden, Dean of Academic Operations and Services at BCCC, is the BMC President.
The BMC’s goal is to support the mission and values of NCBAA with an emphasis on promoting awareness and membership in the local area. The BMC offers mentorships, institutional succession planning, professional development, information sharing and partnerships.
The BCCC community is invited to contribute their skills and expertise in expanding NCBAA’s purpose. BMC meetings will be held the second Thursday of each month on the Liberty Campus

Starting February 12, all transcript requests will be processed via the National Student Clearinghouse.
Visit www.bccc.edu/transcripts to order transcripts. Credit/debit and prepaid cards can be used.
Additional processing fees apply.
BCCC will no longer accept in-person or mailed transcript requests.
