Steps to taking the CLEP exam at BCCC

    • Register with CLEP. Here you will create an account and purchase a CLEP registration ticket. Make sure you select the appropriate score recipient. The Testing Center is not responsible for ensuring that you have registered for the correct exam needed for the credit desired at your institution. Please check with your institution before scheduling an appointment to ensure you are taking the correct exam. Students using BCCC as their score recipient should contact the Associate Dean of the appropriate department for information and requirements.

    • Schedule your appointment with BCCC and pay the proctoring fee. You will need your CLEP voucher number (found on the registration ticket obtained during step 1) to complete this step. DO NOT SKIP STEP 1 OR YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TEST. Fees are nonrefundable and not-transferable.

    • Prepare for your CLEP exam by reviewing study materials.

    • Review Exam Day Information and be sure to present with a College Board CLEP approved photo ID and a printed copy of your CLEP Registration Ticket.
