Student Eligibility Criteria for Free Summer Tuition and Fees:

  • In order to qualify for Free Summer Tuition and Fees, students must meet all existing eligibility requirements, which include completion of a valid 2021-22 and or 2022-2023 FAFSA and the following: 

    • Be Title IV eligible 
    • Be registered for Summer 2022 
    • Be in good academic standing (SAP) 
    • Not currently in loan default with the U.S. Department of Education 
    • Be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen 
    • Be a high school graduate or have earned an equivalent such as General Education Diploma (G.E.D.) 
    • Must be a degree or certificate seeking student (dual enrollment and non-credit students are excluded)  
    • Have a valid social security number

Types of Class Instruction

  • BCCC offers classes in several instruction methods to provide all students a rich face-to-face or virtual learning experience.

    In-Person (face-to-face) traditional on-campus or offsite in-person classes.

    Virtual (face to face) classes meet with a live instructor through Zoom or Microsoft Teams, and allows student interaction with the professor and classmates. Students login at the scheduled course time to join the class.

    Online web courses meet within Canvas. Students complete weekly work within a flexible schedule to meet weekly assignment deadlines and have 24-hour access to their class.

    Hybrid (in-Person and Online web)

    Note: Internet access, web camera, microphone and speakers are required equipment.
